Welcome to my new blog! I have made this blog to share my beautiful Guinea pigs with you. Some of you may be followers from Instagram and will already knew a little bit about the Piggies, But for anyone thats new i will give a brief introduction.
I have kept guinea pigs for most of my life and so has my mum. I had my original two piggies at the age of 8 (Dolly and Dandelion. However it was at the age of 18 when i adopted 3 piggies that my love for keeping Guinea pigs returned. I adopted 3 female piggies, Ivy Stripes, Coco Olive and Lizzie Blossom. I had waited all summer to get them and couldn't wait to get them. One of the piggies Lizzie turned out to be pregnant and gave birth on 23.09.11 to 3 tiny little babies Teddy, Herbie and Flossie (who didn't make it as she was so tiny). We kept the babies and hand reared them as Lizzie rejected them, it was the most special experience watching them grow and learning along the way. This is going back 6 years now and very sadly our last of the babies Teddy Bear passed away a few months ago (He is the piggie in our main photo on the left with his friend Pansy who passed away this year also).
In Teddy and all the other piggies memories i have decided to make this blog to document the lives of my piggies, sharing their stories past and present, and showing the fun they have! So now that I've shared a little of the back story i will introduce the current Piggies. Over the next few posts i will share their stories but for now here they are! I hope you enjoy x
