The story behind the new notebooks......

As a guinea pig 'mum' i know how important it is to keep an eye one their weight as even small changes can be early indicators of a problem. We weigh the piggies weekly recording their weight in a book so its easy to refer back to see any changes.  Last year Freddie weighed a healthy 1200g and was gradually dropping weight a few grams at a time, then he began to drop weight more rapidly telling us there was a problem. Having all his previous weights written down in a book helped us to look for the start of the problem and try to figure out what was causing it. Should we not have done regular weight checks we might not have noticed early enough. 

These new notebooks are A5 Sized with lined paper and are ideally for jotting down any health notes about your piggies, as there is nothing worse than getting to the vets and not remembering all the information. Of course the notebooks can be used many different things such as recording piggies birthdays, medical info or even just to make their shopping lists!
