Albert Barnaby Bibbs and the great seaside escape
“It sounds like a lovely day outside. I wish I could see it all” he wished.
You see for as nice as it was outside Albert couldn't see any of it. He had just moved to the seaside but was stuck inside little boring cage inside of the shop he had been taken to. His walls were dull, his bed had just run out of bedding and his straw hadn't been fluffed so prickled his little toes.
“This isn't the life for me, I a pig of adventure! I want to see the world”
Throughout the day he could get no rest from the children coming in and poking at him through the cage, the clatter and noise from the shop around him, the loud sounds of other creatures within the shop so he spent most of his time hidden away under a little wooden bridge that had been put in his cage. There was one moment though that made Albert smile and that was seeing two very friendly humans come over and spend some time with him...
Days passed and Albert continued to spend his time under his little bridge, thinking perhaps one day he could run away and start a new life as a toll bridge operator and began to dream of the day he could escape until BANG BANG BANG BANG!
Albert woke up with a start and peeked out from under his bridge. He could smell rainwater and realised it was raining so bad outside!
“Oh well” he thought with a sigh “Another day of loneliness again” and began to tuck himself back up under his bridge. Just as he was beginning to settle he heard two voices in the store, different to the normal day to day sounds he normally heard.
“Is he still here?” a kind female voice said “Lets go look over there”
Albert peeked up and saw the two friendly humans he saw a couple of days ago! They had been on holiday and were on their last day. Albert peeked out only a little bit for he was quite shy! He'd never seen such friendly people before, most just wanted to call him a hamster and poke him which caused great offence to him!
“Let me call home and see what they say” the girl said and began to walk away
As they did a group of children came running past and began to shout at him, knock his cage and poke their fingers through. Albert cowered in the corner and closed his eyes wishing for it to stop but before he knew it he was being picked up, put in a dog biscuit box with newspaper in and the lid closed on him!
“Oh great” he thought “Things keep going from bad to worse! What is it now?”
The top of the box soon opened and Albert peered upwards, expecting more trouble but to his surprise it was sunshine! It was fresh sea air! A shower of delicious lettuce leaves falling from the sky!
“What is this magic?” he squeaked with joy “This is amazing! I a free pig!”
He looked up again and saw the two friendly humans looking down on him and smiling. They had rescued him to take him to a new home but little did he know this was the start of a new and exciting chapter in his life...

Wonderful-I hope you consider writing a children's book with your original drawings. Maybe you can have adventures of Hugh and Albert as a theme!
