Albert Barnaby Bibbs and the Curious Case of the Lilac Powderpuff

Albert Barnaby Bibbs had a lovely journey from the seaside to his new home with the Pansyted Pigs. After an hour or so of travelling the car he was in came to a stop and he found himself being carried in to his cosy new home and was immediately surprised by what he saw; you see Albert never grew up around other rodents in the shop he was in so to his surprise he saw 6 other guinea pigs!

His new owner started showing him around and introducing him to the other pigs, he met the cheeky pirate boys called Dilbert and Cuthbert, the sassy girls Clementine and Rosa and he even met the fluffiest rodent ever Bessie and a skinny pig called Nellie...well Albert didn't know she was meant to be that way and thought Nellie had forgot to put her fuzzy coat back on

Albert was then shown his lovely new home and popcorned with excitement! There was super comfy bedding all around, toys to play with, curtains to peep-bo behind and so much more! 

Days past and Albert was loving life in his new home, being nosey and saying hi to his new mum when she walked in, wheeking at the other rodents and having lots of fun but then one day as he was snoozing away next to his favourite cuddly star there was a really loud sneeze which made him jump

“Whoa!” Bibby said all startled from his name “Where did that come from?”

He had a good look around his cage and he couldn't see anything different but then out of nowhere he heard another massive sneeze

“Hey pirate bros” he shouted across “Have you got tickly noses?” but they said it wasn't them, they were too busy burrowing under their freshly laid fleece

Later on after a day of cuddles and snacks Albert began to settle down for the night and went over to a lovely new lilac cushion his mum had bought back. He began to drift over but again he heard a loud sneeze! He woke up with a start and looked around to see his new comfy cushion had moved to the other side of the cage

“Hey sassy girls” he shouted across “Are you playing tricks on me?” but they said it wasn't because they were having too much fun flipping over their new houses

The next day Albert woke up covered in snow! 

“That's strange” he thought “It's not even winter yet”

He looked out the window at the sunshine and looked back at the white powder around him

“Hey buff and fluff girls” he shouted across “Where's this come from?” but they said they didn't know as they were too busy lounging about waiting for snacks

Albert sniffed the powder and it made him do a massive sneeze

“Oooo you made me jump” a voice next to him said “Are you okay?”

Albert jumped around to see the lilac cushion he'd been sleeping on was talking to him!

“Sorry I made you sneeze. My name is Hubert Quinn and I'm your new brother. I came from a washbasket and all this powder is from me sorry! My old owner wanted to make sure I was nice and clean for my new home!”

Albert was surprised but also so happy too because now he had his very own pig pal to grow up with and play lots of games with too in the home of Pansyted Pigs!
